Frederickseal Style 924 Gator Hide is a commercial grade EPDM sheet. It is weather and ozone resistant. Gator (EPDM) rubber is popular and preferred in the heating industry because of its compatibility with hot water and steam.
Frederickseal Gator Sheet is resistance to ultraviolet light and temperature cycling. Temperature extremes (thermal-cycling) cause most rubber material to become cracked brittle, but EPDM is much less susceptible to this condition.
924 Gator (EPDM) has been called the poor-man’s Viton, as it has remarkable chemical compatibility.
