Frederickseal Unifoil Sheet is manufactured of high purity expanded graphite foil with a 316 SS foil laminate insert providing additional strength and handling.
Unifoil sheet, used in a multitude of applications, is among the top gasket and sealing materials available.
Unifoil Sheet is extreme heat, flame, and chemical resistant. It is compatible with virtual all chemicals. It is suitable for high pressure applications, and has low creep relaxation and will not age (unlimited shelf life).
Temperature Range: Oxidizing: -400°F – 950°F
Non-Oxidizing: 1800°F (w/Insert) / 5400°F (no Insert)
Creep Relaxation (ASTM F-38): Less than 5%
Carbon: 99% Min., Ash: 0.8% Max;
Leachable Chloride: 30ppm Max
Compressibility (ASTM F-36) 40%
