Frederickseal tadpole gaskets have a distinctive shape, featuring a rounded compressible bulb and a flat extended tail, resembling that of a tadpole.
Burner Housing to Inner Door Gaskets, are preformed to properly fit, with pre-punched bolt holes.
They are constructed of woven fiberglass, treated or impregnated with a tacky rubber compound. This tacky rubber aids in flexibility, adhesion, weather resistance, and sealing.
The Tadpole design allows the bulb to compress and conform to uneven surfaces for a reliable seal, while the tail secures the gasket in place, creating an effective barrier against heat loss, gases, liquids or smoke.
Max continuous operating temperature: 550°F.
Typical break-in/cure period for Rubberized Tadpole Gaskets: 90 minutes at 300°F.
